As Head of Props for our production of The 39 Steps, I had the privilege of working under my scenic designer and mentor, Omanie Elias. I led a dedicated team of first-year prop makers who did an exceptional job bringing Omanie’s vision to life. When specific props weren’t available, we took on the challenge of building them ourselves. Watching my classmates succeed in their respective departments truly helped unify the production and strengthen the final result. I couldn’t have done this without my team, and I genuinely loved collaborating with everyone throughout the process. Thank you to Rafa, Sam, Elliott, Anastassia, Mabel, Gericka, and Lukas.
